Joanna Huchting

Biography
Joanna Huchting is an associate at Phillips Jessner. Her practice covers a wide range of family-law matters, including marital dissolution, domestic violence, child custody and visitation, move-away requests, child support, spousal support, modification of support, division of community property, and confirmation of separate property.
Prior to joining Phillips Jessner, Ms. Huchting was a partner at Cox, Castle & Nicholson, LLP, specializing in real estate and construction litigation. While working there, Ms. Huchting earned the distinction of being named the Associate Member of the Year for the Building Industry Association of Southern California. Ms. Huchting later owned her own firm where she handled a wide variety of matters, including real estate and family law disputes.
Ms. Huchting received her J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law in 1998. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University in 1995, where she was a member of the Honor Program, Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, and Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, and the recipient of the Rev. Alfred J. Kilp Academic Scholarship and Dean's Citation for Excellence.
